    • This is where I developed and applied the skills shown across this CV: ecommerce development, automation, web scraping, API integrations, performance marketing and LLM-assisted content workflows.
    • Delivered 68 stores and websites on MerchantPro, WooCommerce, Gomag, Wix and CS-Cart, from scoping and pricing through build, migration, launch and support.
    • Wrote the automation behind them: supplier scraping where there is no API, stock and price syncing, ERP, invoicing and courier integrations, chatbots and blog content on autopilot.
    • Clients in pharmacy, food and drinks, sanitary ware and heating, fashion, real estate and services. Those stores together do €1M+ in gross sales a month.

    • Tested mobile network performance in 15+ countries using Qualcomm and Rohde & Schwarz measurement tools.
    • Campaigns delivered for Accenture and for NetCheck, member of NC Group: drive and walk tests run to their methodology, with the results feeding their national benchmarking reports.
    • Produced field reports and coordinated with international benchmarking teams.
    • Worked independently under pressure, on campaigns that judge a national network.

      NetCheck, NC Group · Feb 2025

      Nationwide drive tests in 39 cities and on the roads between them: 188 hours of measurement plus 56 on local roads, over 40,000 samples per operator. I was part of the field team; mts Telekom Srbija took the award with 932 of 1,000 points.

Beyond the code

Client work, end to end
Scoping, quoting, setting expectations, delivering and supporting, across every project in the portfolio, B2B and B2C. There is no account manager between the client and me, so the awkward conversations are mine as well as the good ones.
Strategy, not just execution
With many clients the work started well before the build: long conversations about the business, the pricing, the range and the way orders flow. We worked out the strategy and the details together, and I delivered what came out of that. It is where most of my management skills were learned.
Running the business, not just the build
Founder behind Codefix and Divina Digitale, operated through WEB CODEFIX SRL, FLOW CODEFIX SRL and BĂBȚAN DAVID-ADRIAN PFA in Romania, and DIVINA HOLDINGS IE in Georgia. Registration, contracts, pricing, invoicing, and every other thing that is not code but decides whether the code gets paid for.
Coordinating under pressure
Benchmarking campaigns run to schedules that do not move, with international teams across 15+ countries and reports that other people's decisions depend on. A storefront failing during a sale does not wait either.

Invoice processing with a local LLM, output ready for e-Factura
Master's thesis · Jan 2025 — Jun 2026
Invoices are read and structured by a language model running on Ollama on a self-hosted VPS, so no document ever leaves the server. The result is XML ready for e-Factura, with OCR (Tesseract) as the first step for scanned documents. Built to remove manual entry for small and medium businesses.
PlateReco, automated licence plate recognition

An end-to-end licence plate recognition system in MATLAB, combining edge detection, filtering and OCR with a custom interface for real-time plate and character recognition.
